![]() ![]() In nearly every episode, King Koopa adopted various different aliases based on what he was doing or planning on doing to expand/enforce his rule, with almost all of said aliases being a parody of a real-life figure or a famous fictional character. Sometimes, the threat King Koopa posed often shifted, as, in some instances, he would only appear as a minor annoyance while in others he would conquer or come close to destroying cities, towns, or even planets. ![]() Since then, King Koopa has constantly attempted to kidnap the princess again and again, often with the help of his assistant, Mouser and his other liutenants, Tryclyde, Clawgrip and Fry Guy, but was always thwarted by the Mario Bros, who act as her bodyguards as they traversed the country, liberating the various territories of the Mushroom Kingdom from Koopa's control while also searching for a way to drive the evil monarch out of the kingdom for good. After witnessing them inadvertently defeat his army, Koopa was forced to make a hasty retreat. However, just before Koopa could grab her, he fearfully noticed the heroic plumbers, Mario and Luigi suddenly appearing from a warp pipe leading from their world to the Mushroom Kingdom. He also apparently sired seven children, which included the brutish Bully Koopa, the talkative Big Mouth Koopa, the devious Cheatsy Koopa, the inventive Kooky Von Koopa, the vain Kootie Pie Koopa, and the twins, Hip and Hop Koopa.Īs shown by the intro, King Koopa had nearly conquered the entire Mushroom Kingdom, and was on the verge of attaining complete control by capturing its ruler, Princess Toadstool and her assistant, Toad, who he had cornered on a cliff with a platoon of his minions. In adult years, Bowser somehow established himself as the tyrannical king of the entire Koopa race and other species, such as the Goombas, Piranha Plants, Shy Guys, etc. He also had urinary incontinence until he was twelve and flunked kindergarten so many times that he established a world record for it. 3Īs stated by Herlock Solmes in The Adventures of Sherlock Mario, when Bowser Koopa was young, he was cowardly bully who the other koopas never let play with them and gave the nick-name, "lizard-lips".
